Sverre Bjertnæs / Grafikk 1995 – 2019 (29.08 – 10.09 2019)

Galleri Fineart is proud to present Sverre Bjertnæs’s first retrospective graphic exhibition. The exhibition will give a comprehensive presentation of the artist’s graphic production from his teaching at Nerdrum in the early 1990s until his critically acclaimed museum exhibition in Haugar this year. Sverre Bjertnæs’s graphic production, as the rest of the artist, is characterized by high craftsmanship and a variety of techniques and artistic expressions.

Bjertnæs likes to refer to his work as a fragmented “stream of images” with traces and references from his own life, as well as popular culture and art history.

We look forward to presenting Sverre Bjertnæs’s consistent quest for change and renewal of the graphic design language throughout his 27-year career as an artist.
