About

(Gallery) Fineart Oslo is an Oslo based gallery specialising in contemporary and modern art. Founded in 2000 Fineart started as an online auction house, but during the course of a few years the company developed into a fullfledged arthouse with online auctions, a web gallery and it’s own magazine in addition to a gallery.

Our flagship gallery is located seaside on Tjuvholmen, in Oslo’s gallery district. With 2000 square meters (21 thousand square feet) in two floors, and our own art magazine with a running press of 22 thousand copies, we have a unique position in the art scene with infinite opportunities for our artists.

Fineart is the leading gallery in Norway with a turnover of 10 million US Dollars a year.

During the summer season we open an additional gallery in the popular summer town of Kragerø.

Gallery Fineart has a great dedication to support and showcase the work of established and emerging artists, both national and international.

The artists that are part of Fineart are all acclaimed artists in their fields. They work in a range of mediums such as painting, sculpture, photography, jewellery and graphic works. Our artists are carefully selected based on the quality of their work and their artistic dedication.

Fineart exhibit established artists such as Bjarne Melgaard, Sverre Bjertnes, Pushwagner, Odd Nerdrum and David Yarrow among others in addition to emerging artists showing great potential.
